KL Kuttāb is divided into three sections. Each section is for a different age range and covers different textual material in an age-appropriate way.
Given that our students come to us from diverse backgrounds and live in the cosmopolitan capital of Kuala Lumpur, we are aware that we must help them foster an understanding of the diversity and breadth of Islamic law. To this end, we expose students to normative rulings from the Mālikī, Shāfiʿī and Ḥanafī madhāhib. We work with teachers to choose curriculum and textbooks for each of their classes in schools of law that they have familiarity and expertise in.
Light snacks are provided in between core classes. Note that our caterers do their best to prepare snacks that are non-processed and dairy-free. If your child has any additional food allergies, please make sure to note this in the registration form.
We try our best to make this program as accessible and inclusive as possible. If your family requires tuition assistance, please e-mail kl.kuttab@gmail.com. Limited assistance is available for core curriculum classes only—it does not extend to the FLABSLAB program.

There are significant fixed costs to running a program of this size. We will prioritize students who enroll for the entire year program. If there are any remaining seats left, then the admissions committee will consider requests for students who are only willing to pay for a limited number of sessions. We will then provide these sessions at a pro-rated rates.
