Beginner's Arabic

Our beginner Arabic class gives children the keys to connect deeply with their faith by enhancing their understanding of Quranic texts, and broaden their cultural insights.

We offer two sections of Arabic. Our class for younger students is called Abjad Hawwaz. Our class for older students is called Ḥuṭṭī Kaliman.

In keeping with our mission to provide children with a holistic education, KL Kuttāb partners with trusted organizations who offer extracurricular activities inspired by the Sunnah. Through these enriching activities, children form lasting friendships and become strong servant leaders.

“Teach your children swimming, archery and horse riding.”

CIRCLE DRUMMING

Taught by Sidi Qamarul of Cempaka Beats, circle drumming teaches children to work as a team, develop their whole brain, and improves their mood by reducing stress. Children improve their language skills by learning Muslim hymns (anashīd). This is an excellent way for children to absorb skills in the Arabic language. Children ages 5+ are welcome to join drumming. Drumming classes are held in Mukha Ba's main hall. To enroll, please note your interest in this course by messaging us or dropping us a note on the registration form.

TURKISH ARCHERY

To enroll, please WhatsApp Coach Rauf and pay fees to him directly.

Traditional archery is a branch of sports and a way of life found around the world. By tradition Turkish archery, we refer to a particular equipment—that is Turkish bows that have a particular form of Asiatic bows, Turkish arrows and Zihgir (thumb ring) that is used for drawing the bow. For us, it is so much more than just a sport. Due to the pivotal role archery has played in Islamic and Turkish history, it is considered part of Muslim civilization and  it a cultural heritage. The most importance of traditional Turkish Archery is it's connection with Sufism and its status as a Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
